About Artist:
Angelo Favaro was born in Mirano, Venice, Italy, September 22nd, 1949. At the young age of 17 he became a student of design and painting. With much enthusiasm, he became fascinated, by the works of Master French Impressionists such as Monet, Sisley, Renoir, Picasso and Cézanne. He followed passionately all the cultural events revolving around Italian and international figurative art. His first works were characterized by colorful villages, coastlines, floral and still life, using oils and tempera paints. He attended the School D'Arte, where he acquired the technique of watercolor, pastels, ceramic, lithograph and serigraphs. In time his paintings became stronger with the use of colors and subject matter. At the Academy of Beautiful Arts in Venice he broadened his expertise by studying the human form from 1972 to 1976 under the guidance of Master Liugi Tito. After many years sketching the human figure, in particular the female nude, he achieved his own technique using charcoal and oil. Since 1977 he has had numerous personal one-man shows and exhibitions, winning the acclaim of both critics and the public. He is represented in top Galleries in Europe and now exclusively in America by "Status Pro Design" and is sold at "Le Petit Musee d'Art" in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
