glass.m.art painted functional art - Amcaro is a promoter of functional art since 1988, when we started to work closely with Canadian artist to produce painted decor objects in limited series. All pieces are originally made and signed by the artists. The painting is done on hand blown glass, imported from Europe, with glass pigments, fired in a kiln. Art objects are safe for food consumption and washable. Amcaro continues to work with European glass artists such as Romanian artist Ion Tamaian and Polish artist Elzbieta Horna. Many of the pieces are one of a kind.
